The Tinkerbell also has a secret crush on The Aramis, which she shows by being kinder to him than she does other boys. Social Group: Punks

Kimberly, while also being the only daughter, is also the only child to inherit blue eyes. The recessive trait not even expressed by her own parents therefore makes her the only Bell of this household with that physical quality. Her hair, however, is the same blonde as everyone else in her family. Personal preference has it cut shorter than shoulder length. She's also a bit smaller than her brothers at 5'5" and 115 lbs.
Dressing style day after day is very random. But her fashion sense basically falls under the category of a "tomboy" style. Kimberly dresses in bright colors, usually in green, her favorite color, but is known to wear neutrals as well, especially black or brown. Her favorite articles of clothing are hoodies or long-sleeved shirts.
Kimberly isn't exactly known for any graceful and dainty little walk down the hallway that would signify she must have gotten practice with a pile of books on her head. It's the least of her worries as long as she's clumsy and banging into anything. Kimberly tries to move as quickly as possible when there are tasks and chores needed to be done. But in a more relaxed stance, she has a bad habit of hunching her shoulders, ambling with a slow pace.
While sitting, she has a tendency to slump into her seat or hunch over the table in front of her. She's more comfortable in crossing her arms and placing her head over it while staring at the chalkboard -- rest assured, she is still playing attention. This is just a comfortable position when sitting in a long class. Being the only female and possibly the shortest was nowhere close to being a disadvantage. Kimberly was always tough and competitive in any game. Even when any boy purposely let her win, she'd sulk and give them the cold shoulder till they apologized and promised they wouldn't do it again.
P E R S O N A L I T Y At First Glance: "Tomboyish but SO CUTE" Likes: AFI, art, Blink 182, books, brainstorming, cameras, the color green, dinosaurs, Eve 6, the film club, football, hanging out with her brothers, hoodies, journalism, literature, long summer days, movies, her newspaper team, punk rock, The Ramones, Rancid, rubber bracelets, saying "you silly ass" a lot, sports, stories, strawberry shortcake, video games, writing Dislikes: being ignored, being interrupted, being told to act more lady-like, biology, getting trapped in the closet, hinting rather than direct statements, junk food, leaving friends, losing Erik's attention because of another girl, a messy room, miniskirts or fancy dresses Goal: To be a writer after she graduates, possibly a journalist/reporter but screenwriter doesn't fall too far away from the list either. To make sure Erik realizes that she is the only one for him and no other girl could ever take her place. Habits: Phobias:
To start off metaphorically, Kimberly is the bright little light that rushes into the room and flits around so quickly that it's a bit difficult to catch her. While she considers it as fast-paced, others might see it as exhausting. She's just efficient, energetic and active and she really doesn't think that it's a flaw!
Kimberly is a very friendly bubbly girl and quite the extroverted type. She's talkative, to the point and demanding which helps her in the long run when it comes to class assignments and teamwork, such as in her extracurriculars. When she sets her mind to something, she likes to get things done right away so there would be a less chance of interruptions. Because hell, those are such a pet peeve. It takes her a while to trust people but once someone gets past that barrier, she's quite the loyal friend.
Although friendly, Kimberly can get fiercely competitive. She has a love for sports and an even bigger love for winning. So great is that love that when she doesn't win, she becomes an immense sore loser and either walks off cursing, or curses first and then walks off. Another flaw is her tendency to be pushy. Some can handle it, like her friends and her brothers. They're pretty used to her habit of forgetting to ask and just taking something, like the fries off their lunch trays. The only exception to this is probably one of the boys, Erik, on whom she's been crushing for about a few months.
Kimberly is basically just one of the guys. She gets along more with boys than girls, although she does have a handful of female friends. But she's closest to her social group in which, well, she's the only girl! The strangest phenomenon about her is that while she does seem like a tomboy and likes the same things the boys do, she's very similar to them... and yet, she's still different in that they acknowledge that she's still a girl as well. How is it possible for someone to seem just like you yet not like you all at once? Well, Kimberly apparently pulls it off well.
One of her biggest and probably well-known flaw is an incredible jealous streak. It's not general in that if someone gets higher grades than her, she is put off. The jealousy mostly revolves around her friends, mostly people outside the group. Perhaps it's from a deep-set insecurity of losing her friends to people who are probably "cooler" than her, despite her facade of confidence she normally exhibits. She's usually not emotionally open, but oh, the green-eyed monster is worn so clearly on her sleeves, especially when Erik's attention strays to other girls.
And boy, does it rear a bit of an ugly head. Kimberly has a bit of a strange predicament in which that she can only feel one emotion at a time, or so it seems to other people. She doesn't hide her emotions mostly because she can't. And if she's happy, she'll express it, but if something upsets her, she'll get angry altogether. It's possibly not possible for her to be slightly annoyed but mostly in a good mood. It's usually either one mood or the other!
R E L A T I O N S H I P S Father: Aaron Bell, is a college biology professor, who found a more promising career in Louisiana than the job he had in New York City. He was very eager to take the job despite having grown up in New York all his life, but the income for his family mattered to him more. He treats Kimberly much differently than his own sons, in which that she is the only daughter. Too bad, it's one of Kimberly's pet peeves to be treated differently than her brothers.
Mother: Monica Bell nee Moore, is an accountant, also grown up in New York, obviously graduated from there too. She was not very open to the move, seeing as she absolutely loves New York City, but it was a sacrifice she had to make for her children. Kimberly does relate to her in the same way, and hence, she's closer to her mother than her father.
Siblings: Taylor Bell is the oldest born of the Bells, about five years older than Kimberly. He's the humblest of the brothers, though it crosses the line into a negative view. There's a mild lack of social skills on his part, despite the passion for meeting new people. His communication skills could definitely use a tune-up.. as well as his cleaning habits. His room is probably by far the messiest. And considering he had to share his room with Kimberly, they tended to get into a lot of disagreements. He's studying criminal justice as a college major.
The twins, Malcolm and Blake Bell are two years older than Kimberly. With possibly the most dissimilar qualities a pair of twins could have. While Malcolm, the older twin, keeps to himself a lot and chooses his opinions to voice very carefully, Blake is the louder and more outgoing twin. His mouth tends to spew out much more verbal vomit without so much of a second thought. He's been told by most of his family members to watch what he says with the exception of Malcolm who usually seems apathetic. Surprisingly, Blake is probably the favorite of Kimberly's brothers. Malcolm is doing a business major as Blake goes for forensics.
Best Mates: Erik d'Herblay [The Aramis], [The Porthos], and [The Athos] are the boys she mainly hangs out with in school. She met them in her first year and developed a close friendship immediately, considering she associated them as replacements for her three old guy friends back in New York.
Close Mates: Phoebe Charleson, is her next-door neighbor that she met when the Bells first moved into Apple Creek. Kimberly was weary at first on getting to know her because she seemed too girly and Kimberly was very much grumpy about having to move in so she kept her distance. Eventually, they became closer than that as they started to attend school together.
Romantic: Enemies:.
B I O G R A P H Y The story of the Bells that reside in Apple Creek, Louisiana did not start from that very spot. It started thousands of miles away in the busy neighborhoods of Queens, New York City. Here resided Aaron Bell, a curious and inquisitive boy who grew up highly interested in the anatomy of a flower, cell theory, and the interactions between the environment with an organism. High school passed, then undergrad college and then grad school. Eventually, the boy turned man found himself in La Guardia Community College, informing his students of these same interests.
Somewhere along the way, Aaron fell in love with the lady in the neighborhood that he once knew in her pre-teen years before she moved away. There was a chance meeting years later in their college years and their friendships rekindled. (Though she didn't like sciences that much. Her expertises were numbers and economics; nonetheless, this had little effect on their relationship.) Although it took them some years only because Aaron had to build up the courage, they were eventually married and began their own family.
Taylor was their first son, born in 1985, about two years into the marriage. Three years later, they were blessed with two identical boys at the same time, Malcolm and Blake in 1988. Monica's desire to have a daughter after her first child was only fulfilled at her third pregnancy two years later that resulted in the birth of Kimberly Bell on September 17th, 1990.
The four children grew up in their parents' neighborhood of Queens, New York for most of their childhood, all attending and completing Harry Eichler's Public School 56 close to their neighborhood. There weren't many girls in their block, and considering Kimberly grew up with brothers, she usually insisted on being treated the same way as they were. Their father was going to teach them basketball... why shouldn't she learn too? They were given Hot Wheels car sets and superhero action figures when young... why did she have to play with dolls then?
Her brothers weren't her only playmates at that age. The four siblings themselves made close ties with three other boys in the neighborhood by the names Nick, Shawn and Cory, all of varying ages, but still close in age to the Bells' children. Playtime with Kimberly and the boys usually involved make-believe games when they were younger, and as they aged, they began to find more interest in playing sports.
Eventually, they left their elementary public school for higher schooling, to middle school and then high school. While they still attempted to make time for football or basketball, they all had more responsibilities. Even the Bell parents were picking them up in their jobs as well. And eventually, Aaron Bell found his teaching position at the community college less fulfilling than he had hoped.
But the career situation took a good turn in 2002 when Aaron was offered a position of a Biology Professor at University of Louisiana in Apple Creek. Of course, this job didn't just simply find him all the way in New York City. During this time, Taylor was a soon-to-be senior in high school and he had started to look around for an appropriate place for medical school. He caught interest in Louisiana State University's School of Medicine and decided to attend a spring open-house with his father. On that eventful little trip, Aaron also found a job opportunity that he decided to take.
That being said, within a few months, Aaron had decided to shift himself to Louisiana along with his family, after an agonizing two weeks of trying to convince them to move. The twins were on their way to graduating from middle school, so it didn't affect them as much. Hey, they'd just scout out a good school in their new neighborhood! Kimberly took it badly, although she was finished up sixth grade and was planning to attend middle school soon. (This was back when middle school years were still only seventh grade and elementary school went up to sixth grade in New York City. It is believed that Kimberly's year was the last year before fifth and sixth grades became part of middle school years.) Change really sucked, plus she had been planning on attending Middle School 210 like her brothers had and like some of her friends did too.
But with all of her brothers ready to go and her father not wanting to leave either his family or his new job, Kimberly had to give in. Eventually, in the middle of the summer, the family found a comfy little place to call home in Windsor, Apple Creek, Louisiana. While the twins started to attend Apple Creek High, Kimberly was put into West Middle School to complete her seventh and eighth years. Taylor, however, only had one year of high school to go back in New York City. Wishing to complete that year, he temporarily moved in which a relative as the rest of the family shifted over. Of course, the following year when he was finally accepted to University of Louisiana, he moved to Apple Creek as well, although his first two years of college were spent in the campus dorms.
After eighth grade, Kimberly was hell-bent on attending Apple Creek right behind her older twin brothers. The new neighborhood was still hard to adapt to and it was like Malcolm and Blake were her crutches in that society. Her grades were rather exceptional, her parents knew this, but her mother had hopes to place her in a better school, maybe a private one even, but what good were those going to do her if she wasn't going to like the school itself? After her brothers assured their parents that Apple Creek Senior High was actually considered to be a very good school, they relented.
And it was a damn good choice, Kimberly reckoned, since the very first day she stepped into the school. Most of the people she became friendly with at first were Malcolm and Blake's friends. After well into her freshman year, she began to get to know her fellow classmates. She met Erik d'Herblay in that year as well when they shared Biology and Home Economics classes together. In turn, she also managed to get to know the rest of his band members, [The Athos] and [The Porthos]. Despite feeling lost without the boys from her old New York neighborhood, she managed to attach to these three and once again become the "one of the guys" sort of girl in a social group.
Having highly excelled back in middle school in her English classes, she was readily accepted into the Honors English courses in her first year. After noticing her writing skills, her first English teacher, Mr. Callahan, suggested she try for the Apple Creek Chronicle, maybe a position as a writer. At first, she declined but when urged the same again but her second team, Ms. Petrie, Kimberly decided to give it a shot. It didn't take long for her to secure a position as a Sports writer for the newspaper. Sometime later, when she felt like taking up another extracurricular, Kimberly sought interest in Film Club, mostly in screenplay, although her camera work itself wasn't too shoddy either. She is still in both extracurriculars to this day, and in her spring semester of Junior Year, she's taking Chemistry, Journalism, Creative Writing, and French II Honors.
